The Power of Community - ERG Highlights


In 2024, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) continued to amplify the lived experiences of their communities at Snap through internal engagement, professional development, and unique in-platform experiences that showcased the power of community.
Last year we enhanced the ERG program by adding a new global structure, introducing global and regional ERG leaders, and revamping the ERG exec sponsor model. This helped deepen the connection between leaders who demonstrate strong inclusive leadership principles and empathy for the experiences and challenges faced by ERG members with the community. Additionally, we increased focus on building internal community, engagement and professional development for our ERG members through both ERG-specific and intersectional programming.
Nearly half of Snap team members are involved in at least one of our ten ERGs - SnapAbility, SnapAsia, SnapFamilia, SnapHabibi, SnapNoir, SnapPride, SnapShalom, SnapParents, SnapVets, SnapWomen - signaling a strong desire to learn, connect with others who share similar experiences or interests, and build a sense of belonging here at Snap. Snap’s global ERGs hosted over 200 events from leadership speaker series and panels, to career development sessions, monthly in person lunches, and cultural celebrations all centered around creating a shared sense of belonging and connection for their communities.
